About Us

Personas Research Group is a joint venture between a team of Industrial/Organizational Psychologists, the insurance industry and risk managers. Personas offers predictive behavior modeling and assessment testing to predict safety, job performance, driving behavior and other work related outcomes of job candidates looking to be hired in the care-giving industry. The test identifies common personality traits that are most likely to reveal the hidden exposure of making a bad hire and reduce the severity and frequency of workers compensation as well as other risks.

Insurance Risk Managers – Personas Research Group’s insurance experts bring over 60 years and thousands of client’s worth of insurance experience. The Care-giving Behavior Profiletm assessment test includes the core dimensions and questions derived through the personal experience of Personas’s risk managers and their client’s performance evaluations.

Personas Research Group’s Care-giving Behavior Profiletm is supported with nearly 20 years of research and experience, along with most of its core dimensions have been used over 1.25 million times.

Matthew Yee CIC, CWCA, CRM

Matthew Yee is President of Personas Research Group, LLC and co-developer of the Predictive Care-Giving ProfileTM test. Matthew has over 23 years of experience as a commercial insurance risk manager. Matthew is the co-owner of Baker-Hopp & Yee; an insurance agency headquartered in Harper Woods, Michigan and Exemplar Research Group, the developer of Predictive Behavior ProfileTM test.

Dr. Lucy Gibson, Ph.D.

Dr. Gibson is a Licensed Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with many years of experience in the areas of test development, test validation, and implementation of selection testing programs. In addition to helping publish many scholarly research articles, she has taught research methods, statistics, program evaluation and human resource management at both the University of Tennessee and Tusculum College. Dr. Gibson’s work is focused on selection test development, validation of selection testing programs, and working with client companies to tailor employee selection testing to their needs.

Dr. John Lounsbury, Ph.D.

Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Lounsbury is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a licensed Industrial/Organizational Psychologist. Dr. Lounsbury teaches a number of courses on testing, research methods, psychometrics, and human resources management.
